Foods great.. try to catch them during lunch specials. they can be expensive otherwise. But, there are barely any ethnic food places around here, and even less chinese. Their drinks are also great. The Scorpion Bowl for 2 is crazy good. and strong.

Picked up a few orders to go.. Was good service.

Solid performance for north country NH chinese food. As good as any of the top rated chinese take out places in metro Boston including kowloon. Crispy beef was great, tender, nice sauce. Sesame chicken, which is a dish that is so hit or miss at many places, was perfectly done here. Pork fried rice was great duck sauce was different from what we're used to in southern nh and mass but super tasty. The place is located off a main rd and across from the a NH state police barracks so no issues with safety of location as far as I could tell. Gave it five stars because I fully expect to come into one of these places and, even if the food is good to see cobwebs on the ceiling and dust dander on the decor. This place was super clean, none of the typical dirt and dander that you see hanging from the ceilings of a lotta food places that are not well maintained. Great experience all around

Extensive menu of fairly traditional Chinese food. Triple Sizzler was served sizzling as advertised. Combination platter was a tad greasy (fried too much). Service was attentive; prices reasonable; parking ample.

The food has absolutely no flavor no seasoning and no taste. The only thing Chinese about this restaurant is there actual Chinese people working there. Everything seemed to be overcooked tough and dried out. Do yourself a favor if you're heading north or south on Route 16 just continue heading north or south. Do not waste your time and money at this restaurant. It has been several years since we have been here. We decided to give it one more shot. We ordered the appetizer combination platter which was over breaded totally dried out and flavorless. We also had the house special lo mein which had absolutely zero flavor or seasoning to it. The pork fried rice was about the only thing that you could barely taste. The only positive thing I can actually say about the restaurant that is changed is that there used to be a drunk woman that sat on the corner of the bar forever and would never shut up. Thank God she was gone

DO NOT GO HERE. This restaurant has to have just about the worst service I've ever seen. First off they don't answer for the phones, so we had to go in person to order takeout. Secondly, the told us it would be a 45 minute wait even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Turns out it was an hour and a half wait to get our takeout order. It was very expensive but I was just happy to have food. The stapled up bag felt light so i verified with her if she was sure everything was in the bag; once i got home I noticed that about half the food was missing. There is no doubt in my mind that this place is only still in business due to the fact that most of their customers are first time customers cause its in a tourist area. Food isn't that great either. Joke of a restaurant and staff, would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT GO HERE.

The service is amazing and it's a cute little restaurant. They serve Chinese and they have a bar station for those who are wanting a fun night out. I'd say it's a great place to take friends and hang out. Family friendly as well!

They have you wait extended periods, and the foods always far sweeter than it should be.

Very good! Pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. There was only one server for the whole restaurant (I think she was the owner) and despite looking stressed, she did a great job. We'll definitely come back sometime.

Food was enjoyable but owner/ operator was unbearable. She should stay behind bar where she normally is found. No waitresses on a Saturday night? More likely due to owners poor attitude. Being a local I have many other choices for a dinning experience.

Small portions and doesn't taste much like Chinese food. Its ok bit over priced for the amount you get and the quality of the food.

The food here is awesome! The staff is friendly. The inside has that cabin feel with nice wood walls, its bright and inviting. Eat at the bar and have a drink, or enjoy the dining area. They do takeout!

Pretty great food. Wouldnt recommend eatting in. The service is horrible, and thats if youre lucky enough to even get service. Great place for some takeout though.

Love this place. Affordable great food and quick. I usually order crab rangoon and pork fried rice or sesame chicken but anything you order is going to be good.

This is not Chinese! Omg ppl...most dried out ,non seasoned meal l ever had.open up anything breaded it's all breading ! Their was zero taste on all four meals zero !! Greasy ,and order wrong on one ..Blinds were so disgusting dirty it was funny ..This isn't Chinese it's greasy non tasting junk slop...pass it by total waste.

Terrible service and Hospitality. Food was good, poor accountability for customers; we had to go up and ask for more rice and she had no idea she just served us, thought we i was picking up an order. We are locals, been there more than often, not a passing thru tourist! Very sad and upsetting!

Used to go here all the time. Very fast turnover rate amongst staff. The owner is always angry. I now go to Seabird in wolfeoboro. 100% WORTH THE DRIVE.

We've only eaten their food a few times but I have no complaints about the quality or quantity. And their prices aren't bad

Drove 2 hours and needed something to eat before heading to our hotel. It was a half hour before closing and the food was still the best Chinese my boyfriend and I have ever had. Wish we didn’t love hours away because this would be a regular spot for us.

I’ve been going to Songbird since it was in the Windsong Motel which is now econolodge or something. Sue and her husband have always been kind, gracious and hardworking. I love their food! Their rangoons are the best. Sesame chicken is wonderful! People from Mass that are used to their respective favorite Chinese food places, and being a former business owner up here, ( I’m from Danvers), you want to keep going North or South? Keep going. Customers with a mean heart are not welcome.

I reserve 5- stars for Chinatown. But this is really decent Cantonese for the North Country. Standard fare, but the dishes i had were above average and the waitstaff was excellent. I will definitely go back.

Love the place! To me the food always has a great flavor. The chicken is always identifiable too! Nice chunks of pure white meat.

Food was good but the worse service ever!! The waitress who is a older woman was wearing a loose fitting tank top with no bra on! She was really slow. She dropped our menus off and didn't even ask us what we wanted to drink. She was very unprofessional! I'll get takeout next time.

Ni Hao all! My wife and I LOVE this place! Everything is so hot and so fresh and cooked to perfection on the spot! Sue, the owner/hostess/bartender/waitress is absolutely amazing, she does it all with a smile, a cute joke and makes it all look effortless, and she is absolutely adorable! This is without question the best Asian food and service anywhere! If you are in the area and want Chinese, don't even think twice, this is THE place to go!

Their crab rangoons are the BEST I've ever tried. The staff is always friendly and courteous, and the food is fresh and fast. We make a point of going to Song Bird whenever we are in the area!

When busy, service a little slow. Food is great!!
